Rain and steps with tight corners

In They Said it Couldn’t Be Done, Upright Piano Moves by Chris BottleyLeave a Comment

It had to rain…

Today our excited customer was receiving his as-new Yamaha U1.

This was a tricky move, but we had our Kent Piano Movers team on the case. Our van had to be parked in the middle of the road, and we had to move it a number of occasions to let the traffic past. The weather just was not our friend on that day, it continued to rain and rain, making everything slippery, including all of our ramps that were needed to make this job possible.

However, our experienced team have dealt with this many times before, and the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and secure delivery are second nature to them. Suffice to say, the customer was not expecting us to bring his new piano in over the top of his front wall! Another job completed by: Kent Piano Movers.

Kent Piano Movers responded quickly to my enquiry and gave me a competitive price. As the day got nearer, Chris was very helpful on the phone as we worked out logistics and gave me collection and delivery times the day before, as promised in the quote. He and Callum worked really hard to get my piano up the stairs of the front garden and into the front door - lots of clever placement of ramps and planks meant they could wheel it uphill rather than take the full weight of the beast! I'm very happy with the service and would highly recommend the people at Kent Piano Movers to do the job professionally and with the minimum of fuss. Many thanks guys!!! 🙂 Sorry, Google wouldn't let me upload the pix - only one star for them!!!
